The Fit Life in Words
Tips on Nutrition, Workouts, and more. Because you can always improve.
Summer is coming to an end which means the humidity is disappearing and it's the perfect weather to enjoy the outdoors! Why would you want to spend any time at all in a sweaty gym when you can be just as productive outside? I promise, the sweaty gym will still be there in the winter when there's a foot of snow on the ground and you don't have the option to exercise outside. We've put together a workout that should take you less than 30 minutes to complete and doesn't require any equipment; maybe just some creativity. The key is to take no more than a 30-second rest in between every set. It will leave you out of breath and with a fast, healthy metabolism hours after you're finished.
1. Easy Cardio.
Jog for 10 minutes. Street, turf, track, it doesn't matter.
2. Superset #1.
Just to be clear, you are going to do the exercises in the order given and then repeat 2 more times.
3. Superset #2.
Same as the last superset, do each of these 3 exercises and then repeat 2 more times. Stick with a 30-second rest in between each set and keep the blood pumping!
4. Sprints to finish it out.
Sprint 40 yards at 90% speed. If you're wondering how far that is, choose a start spot and take 40 steps (as if you were walking regularly) and choose a marker as a finish point. Complete 6 sprints and take a 30-second break in between each.
5. Awesome job! Now, shower up and go enjoy your day.
